Buddha or Buddhism is a religion that was taught by Sidharta Gautama who lived around 563 BCE to 483 BCE (some say that it was between 486 and 483 BCE. He was the son of King Suddhodana which ruled the Shakya Clan. Siddharta Gautama himself was considered to be a god or even prohet even by some other religions such as Ahmadiya Islam, Hinduism, Baja’i Faith and others.
Buddhism teaches three principle teaching. They are include nothing is lost in the universe , everything changes, and law of cause and effect. The first principle is known as the eternal law of energy. Energy do not stop existing it just turns into other form of energy. The second principle means that changes is the only thing that keep happening. New innovations are found, new buildings and roads are built, new ideas are written. The last is that everyting happens because something is causing it. A car moves because there is energy moving it. Day and night happen because th earth is moving on its rotation. In Budhism, the law of cause and effect is called karma.
In Buddhism, there are four forms of meditation known. They are Shamasta, Viphasyana, Samadhi, and shikantaza. These four meditation techniques are to be done in order. The frst two are the most basi c meditation, followed by Samadhi and the last, shikantaza, is the most advanced meditation.
